Spectator Information
We invite you to come out and watch the races this season.  Spectators are always FREE!!  Our Gang features unique vehicles and events, it is a must see!  Below are just some answers to common questions asked by spectators.

Directions
To get to Georgetown from Denver; take I-70 West to Exit #228.  Turn Left.  Take another left at the stop sign onto the Frontage Road.  The lake will be off to your right in about 1 or 2 miles.  Our area is clearly visable from the highway.  It is about a 45 minute drive from Denver.

Parking
If you will be watching the events, you can park in the parking lot.  We do not allow Spectator vehicles onto the ice.

Start Times
Races start at 9:30 am and are held regardless of weather.  We move from one class to another after each one is completed, there are not set start times for each class.

Watching The Races
You can walk out onto the ice for a better view.  You do so at your own risk.  Please be careful when walking on the ice.

A line of cones is set up in front of each race course.  Please stay behind this line and out of staging for your saftey.

The best races to watch are the Cheater classes, they are a must see.  The Stud classes are also good to watch.  A list of events is listed on the Schedule page

The Weather
Georgetown is often cold in the winter and always windy.

No Alcohol!
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are to be brought onto the ice; even by spectators, as part of our agreement with the Town of Georgetown.

Facilities
Restroom facilities are provided at the lake or at the Georgetown Visitors center.  There are restaurants and convenience stores in Georgetown, a two minute drive from the lake.

Questions, etc...
If any issues (questions, injuries, problems) arise while you're at our events, they need to be brought to our attention as soon as possible.  Our Gang Members wear yellow jackets and will be able to assist you.  If you are given any instructions by members, please follow them as they're to ensure your safety.

Photos and Video
You can take photos/video as long as you stay in a safe place.  This means stay out of the staging line, off of the track and away from the outside of the corners.

Dogs
Dogs are allowed on the ice only with leashes on and under control.

Dispose of all trash
Our Gang is responsible for Georgetown Lake, and we take this responsibility seriously.  Please dispose of all trash and cigarette butts in trash containers.  Also, please don't spill drinks (soda, coffee, juice) onto the lake, they look like vehicle fluids and may cause a big clean up.
