13.  Pro Street Division

A.  Pro Street Vehicles / Safety Equipment

1.  All vehicles must be completely street legal including license plates and required emission and/or inspection stickers.  Valid registration and current license plates must be shown at tech-in.  Registration must match VIN.

2.  Vehicle must be races in street legal form with mufflers; applicable state inspections; DOT headlights; taillights; turn lights; etc.

3.  Brakes must be of factory type; no alteration or modifications of any kind are allowed.  All brake controls must be declared, disconnected and rendered inoperative to the satisfaction of the Tech committee and the referees.  The tightening brakes on one side of the vehicle is considered brake control.

4.  DOT approved helmets are MANDATORY for all classes in the Pro Street division.  Snell approved helmets are recommended.

5.  Roll bars or factory hard tops are MANDATORY in Pro Street.  Full roll cages are recommended for for the Studs class.

B.  Bare Rubber Tire Specifications

1.  Specialty ice tires are allowed as long as they are street legal (i.e. Blizzak, soft compound, etc.).

2.  No traction modifiers are allowed (i.e. walnut shells, bottle caps, bleach or any other foreign materials).

3.  Siping is allowed.  Buffing and grooving of tires will not be allowed.

4.  Minimum tire pressure allowed is 10 lbs. per tire.

5.  Minimum tread width allowed is 4 inches.

C.  Stud Tire Specifications

1.  All tire studs in the Pro Street class must be DOT approved to be considered street legal.

2.  Studs must be of factory type.  No handmade or altered studs are allowed.  No Alaskan studs are allowed.

3.  The maximum stud length allowed is 17mm (.668 of an inch).  If the Tech Committee has any doubt about a stud, it will be pulled out for inspection.

4.  A maximum of 20 studs per 40 sq. inches will be allowed, as measured by a 7 1/8" round template.

5.  Tires should be in good condition and the studs must be secured to the satisfaction of the Tech Committee.

6.  No tire changing is allowed on or between vehicles during class eliminations except for a flat or blowout.  All tire changes must be cleared by and Our Gang official.

7.  Minimum tread width allowed is 4 inches.  Maximum tread width allowed is 12.5 inches as stamped on the side of the tires.

8.  Minimum tire pressure allowed is 10 lbs. per tire.

D.  Go for the Silver Race

1.  Maximum of four (4) entrants per vehicle.

2.  This will be a single elimination studded tire race with men and women combined.

3.  This is a two-lap race.

4.  All other Pro Street Studs Class rules apply.

14.  Competition Division

A.  Vehicle Specifications / Safety Equipment

1.  Competition division vehicles do not have to be street legal.

2.  Front and rear axles must remain same type (i.e. solid or independent) as frame claimed.

3.  Steering brakes are allowed in the Competition division.

4.  Snell approved helmets are MANDATORY in all classes of the Competition Division.

5.  Full roll cages are MANDATORY to compete in the Studs and Cheater classes.  Roll bars or a factory hard top are MANDATORY to compete in the Bare Rubber classes only.

6.  A safety approved 5-point harness is MANDATORY to compete in the Cheater Class.

7.  Front roll cage mounts must be securely fastened to the frame.

8.  Scatter shields are MANDATORY on manual transmissions.  Blankets are recommended for all transmissions.

9.  Any fuel tank or fuel cell with an open vent tube or hose must have a one-way check valve in Cheater Class vehicles.

10.  The fuel filler neck must be outside any tano cover.  The tano cover can be removed, but the fuel neck must be visible.

11.  On Cheater Class vehicles a battery ignition disconnect switch must be wired such that when engaged it will isolate all battery power to electronic circuits and kill the engine.  This switch must be placed in the rear of the vehicle, so that it can be turned off from outside the vehicle.  This switch must also be marked in bright, contrasting colors.

B.  Bare Rubber Tire Specifications

1.  Siping, buffing and grooving of tires is allowed.

2.  No traction modifiers allowed (i.e. walnut shells, bottle caps, bleach or any foreign materials).

3.  Minimum tread width allowed is 4 inches.

C.  Stud Tire Specifications

1.  Minimum tread width allowed is 4 inches.  Maximum tread width stamped on side of the tire allowed is 12.5 inces.  Maximum tire size allowed is 29x12.5 inches.

2.  Minimum air pressure allowed is 10 lbs. per tire.

3.  The maximum stud length allowed is 20 mm (.786 of an inch).  If the Tech Committee has any doubt about a stud, it will be pulled out for inspection.

4.  A maximum of 20 studs per 40 sq. inches of tread surface will be allowed as measured by a 7 1/8" round template.  No more than nine (9) studs per bar.

5.  No tire changing is allowed on or between vehicles during class elimination except for a flat or blowout.  All tire changes must be cleared by an Our Gang Official.

6.  Tires should be in good condition and the studs must be secured to the satisfaction of the Tech Committee.

D.  Go for the Gold Race

1.  Maximum of four (4) entrants per vehicle.

2.  This will be a single elimination, studded tire race with men and women combined.

3.  This is a two-lap race.

4.  All other Competition Studs rules apply.

E.  Cheater Tire Specifications

1.  Tire changing may be at will.  A time allotment of only ten (10) minutes will be allowed for tire changing.

2.  Tires should be in good condition and the bolts must be secured to the satisfaction of the Tech Committee.

3.  The bolts in cheater tires may not exceed 1/8" over 1 1/2" in length from the "tread" surface, to be determined by a 20% average.  Any diameter bolt is allowed.

F.  The Cheater Invitational

1.  This race will consist of sixteen (16) drivers.  There will be eight (8) women's points leaders in Cheaters and eight (8) men's points leaders in Cheaters.

2.  Participating in a regular season Cheater event earns a driver zero (0) points.  If zero (0) points places a driver in the top eight (8) of their class, they may qualify for the Invitational.

3.  If less than eight (8) men's and/or women's drivers are eligible to qualify, empty positions will be randomnly drawn to fill the vacancy(ies).

4.  All rounds follow bracket style racing.

5.  One winner must emerge from each bracket (i.e. A bye-round, if necessary.  A bye-round is a free lap and must be made).

6.  Drivers may substitute vehicles at their discretion between races if a breakdown occurs in their primary vehicle.

7.  Starting positions will be determined by drawing numbers the night before the trophy presentation.

8.  Invitational drivers will choose race workers the night before at the trophy presentation.

9.  No additional fees are required.
