12. Street Stock Division
A. Street Stock Vehicles / Safety Equipment

1. All vehicles must be completely street legal including license plates and emission and/or inspection stickers. Valid registration and current license plates must be shown at Tech in.

2. Vehicle must be raced in street legal form with mufflers, windshields or eye protection, applicable state inspections, etc.

3. Street Stock vehicles must remain stock.

4. Brakes must be of factory type; no alterations or modifications of any kind are allowed. All brake controls must be declared, disconnected and rendered inoperative to the staisfaction of the Tech Committee and the referees. The tightening of brakes on one side of the vehicle is considered brake control. Emergency brakes must remain unaltered.

5. DOT approved helmets are MANDATORY for the Studs class. Snell approved helmets are recommended. Helmets are not required, but are recommended for the Bare Rubber class.

6. Roll bars or factory hard tops are MANDATORY.
B. Bare Rubber Class

1. NO ONE that drives in any other class is eligible to drive in this class the same weekend.

2. Tire changing of any kind is not allowed at the event, except for flats, which need to be cleared by an Our Gang Official.

3. Because of the amount of tires available and their differing make-ups and abilities, OUR GANG 4 WHEELERS, INC. reserves the right to inspect and judge tires on an individual basis. We can allow or disallow the use of tires or bump the competitor up to a more advanced class based on these judgments.

4. Ice tires (i.e. most Blizzaks, a soft compund retread, etc.) that indicate they are or are deemed to be "studless tires" by referees are not allowed and MUST be moved to Pro Street Division Bare Rubber Class. Tires that came studded and have been de-studded are permitted.

5. No traction modifiers allowed (walnuts, bleach, studs, etc.)

6. Siping is allowed. Buffing and grooving of tires will not be allowed.

7. Minimum air pressure allowed is 10 lbs. per tire.

8. Minimum tread width allowed is 4 inches.

9. Go for the Bronze Race


a. Maximum of four (4) entrants per vehicle.


b. This will be a single elimination race with men and women combined.


c. This is a two-lap race.


d. All other Street Stock Bare Rubber rules apply.

10. Second Chance Race Series


a. This race is a "second chance" for Street Stock drivers to compete. These races will be held only if time, conditions and referees allow.


b. This will be a single elimination race with men and women combined.


c. Only Street Stock competitiors who registered and competed in the regular Street Stock Bare Rubber event are eligible to enter the Second Chance race.


d. Drivers must pay a separate fee and register for this event at morning registration.


e. This is a non-point earning race. A cash pot will be offered to the winner until it is exhausted.


f. The top five (5) Men's Street Stock and the top two (2) Women's Street Stock point earners from the previous season will only be eligible for $25 of the cash pot at a time should they win. (Our Gang will provide a list of those included.) At the final race, everyone will be eligible to win the entire remaining cash pot.


g. All other Street Stock Bare Rubber rules apply.
C. Studs Class

1. NO ONE that drives in any other class is eligible to drive in this class the same weekend.

2. Tire changing of any kind is not allowed at the event, except for flats, which need to be cleared by an Our Gang Official.

3. Tires must be factory produced and street legal. Tires designed for ice racing will be placed in Pro Street Division Studs.

4. Studs must be of factory type. No handmade or altered studs are allowed.

5. The maximum stud length allowed is 17mm (.668 of an inch). If the Tech Committee has any doubt about a stud, it will be pulled out for inspection.

6. A maximum of 20 studs per 40 sq. inches will be allowed, as measured by a 7 1/8" round template.

7. Tires should be in good condition and the studs secured to the satisfaction of the Tech Committee. Studs should be installed according to factory specifications.

8. Minimum tread width allowed is 4 inches.

9. Minimum tire pressure allowed is 10 lbs. per tire.
