Check the rule book for further information, such as limitations on each division.
There are 3 divisions:

1.  Street Stock
This class was designed for novice drivers.  Vehicles are "stock" which means they're street legal and not designed/set-up for ice racing.  Bare Rubber tires must be also be stock and not designed for ice driving.  If you have ice tires that are unstuddable (ie, most Blizzaks, Nokkians, soft rubber compound) you will be placed into Pro Street Bare Rubber.  Helmets are not required in this bare rubber class.  Studded tires must be factory made tires.  Helmets will be required in the studded tire class.

2.  Pro Street
This class is for street legal vehicles and drivers of all levels who are a little more serious about ice racing.  Both special made and factory tires are used in the studded class.  Bare Rubber tires can be designed for ice driving as long as they are street legal and factory made.  This class can run bare rubber tracks that are rough and fast compared to the Street Stock class.  Helmets are required for all classes in this division.

3.  Competition
This class is for purpose built race vehicles.  Drivers of all levels run this division, but most have a lot of experience and started in the street legal classes.  Bare Rubber tire rules are open in this class as long as there are no traction modifers added (walnut shells, metal shavings, bleach, etc...)  Studded tires are special made.  Snell helmets are required in all classes.  This is the only division that runs cheaters and because of the high speeds and increased chance of roll over, there is more safety equipment required.  If you run cheaters; full roll cages, 5 point harnesses and battery cut off switches are MANDATORY.
