Anita's crew chief is her husband, Lee. She also races with her daughters; Lisa, Lindsey and Dot.

Anita considers herself a "good sport". She has done all kinds of things in her time with Our Gang. She won the 1997 Cheater Invitational and has several Point Championships, she was the first female President in 1998 and she even raced with the Men's Comp Class for 4 years.
